| | This summer visitors to Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands are invited to share the passion which drives Mercedes-Benz in Formula 1 and to discover its legacy in Motor Sport. On a tour of the exhibition “The Fascination of Mercedes-Benz Motor Sports”, they can gather intriguing information about the vehicles, drivers, models and championships. |
| In the exhibition the activities and the successes of the brand in Formula 1 are presented to visitors in a multi-faceted way – with a thrilling tour through the successful history of Mercedes-Benz in motor sports, which continues to this very day. |
| Perhaps the greatest draw of the exhibition are the two original vehicle exhibits: Lewis Hamilton’s Formula 1 racing car of 2007 as well as a historical Grand Prix racing car, the Mercedes-Benz W 154; the actual car raced by Fangio in Argentina. In addition, four original racing engines are displayed. |
| The feeling of Motor Sport at close quarters is created by an authentic pit stop simulation, a steep-banked curve and several audio stations at which the season’s highlights are brought to life again. Detailed background information about the drivers and vehicles – both historical and modern Silver Arrows – rounds off the extensive display. |
