MB Bus and Coach unit - in the new millennium

The model range of the Mercedes‑Benz minibuses, which are enjoying increasing popularity, is receiving new attractive models. Based on the Sprinter chassis with six tonnes of permitted gross vehicle weight, the Minibus Centre (as it was known at the time) of the EvoBus GmbH develops two new variants: a low-floor regular service bus which can transport up to 32 passengers and a touring coach with 18 or 21 passenger seats.

With the 6-t Sprinter and the Sprinter variants which have already been introduced, the minibuses on the Vario base and the Mercedes‑Benz Medio, the Minibus Centre (which has been known by the name "Mercedes‑Benz Minibus GmbH“ since 2004) offers a complete range of seven to 40 passenger seats. In 2001 EvoBus GmbH is the largest minibus supplier in Europe, having sold 1400 vehicles.

The minibus customers benefit – as do buyers of full-size buses – from technical expertise and the extensive sales and service network of EvoBus GmbH plus the comprehensive OMNIplus service portfolio.
