At the International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles in Frankfurt, Mercedes‑Benz is introducing the new minibus Medio and the OC 500 chassis to the world for the very first time.
The Medio is a minibus with a completely new design, and as soon as you spot its distinctive front section you’ll know that it’s a genuine Mercedes‑Benz vehicle. It is built in two variants: as a touring coach with capacity for up to 26 passengers and as an regular service/rural-service bus with room for up to 40 people. The passengers expect the same comfort as in the Medio’s big brothers, such as the CRX sleeper seats. The interior design was conceived with a great love of detail.
Also new is the chassis generation OC 500, the base for modern touring coaches and rural-service and regular service buses. The OC 500 is marketed worldwide and can be easily adapted to customers’ individual wishes.
