Large-capacity urban bus produced in 2007

Independent and confident design
Within the regular-service bus family of Mercedes‑Benz, the CapaCity appears to be cast from an unmistakably independent design which nevertheless still distinguishes it as a member of the family from the very first glance. With its clear and smooth-surfaced design idiom, the entire vehicle creates a dynamic, elegant and thoroughly attractive impression from the moment you see it. The design of its friendly-looking front end emphasises the three-dimensional design of its faceplate, whose centre displays the Mercedes star on a base formed of plastic. The front end transitions into a smooth-surfaced side wall.

The side windows are visually enlarged with deeply downward-drawn surfaces in a black finish. The roof design makes a particularly harmonious impression – all attachments such as the air conditioning system or fans are hidden under sleek covers and perfectly integrated in the harmoniously elegant exterior. And the CapaCity has of course adopted all the new features of the second generation Mercedes‑Benz Citaro.
