| As the length of the Mercedes‑Benz CapaCity of 19.54 m exceeds the current permitted legal length of 18.75 m, special approval is needed for operating the vehicle on public streets. In April 2006 the German Ministry of Transport granted general special approval which allows the CapaCity to be used on the German road network without further conditions. Series production of the Mercedes‑Benz CapaCity will begin in 2007. |
