High class, low costs

Low lifecycle costs
One of the factors behind the Sprinter's worldwide success is its outstanding economy, with low maintenance costs making it a real asset for your accounts department too.
It is the only minibus in its class to include a service computer as standard, paving the way for flexible oil change intervals of at least 40,000 km in the diesel models, depending on the particular application. What's more, the first maintenance service that used to be scheduled for 60,000 km is now not due until as much as 80,000 km, again depending on the operating conditions and the oil grade. The intervals for replacing the air cleaner, oil filter, transmission fluid and coolant have likewise been lengthened. All servicing points can be accessed quickly and easily.

This minimises vehicle downtimes, reducing operating costs in the process. The wide rub strips at the sides also have a constructive contribution to make by generally preventing minor bumps from resulting in major repair bills. And if the vehicle should have to visit the workshop for repairs, ingenious solutions such as the bolted mountings for the detachable wheel arches and front module are designed to shorten repair times.
