Customer tests involving the Citaro urban bus have shown that the new generation consumes up to 6 per cent less fuel than the previous Euro 3 versions. With power outputs ranging from 210 kW (286 hp) to 260 kW (354 hp), as well as four valves per cylinder, a turbocharger, electronic engine management and precise injection based on the pump-line-nozzle (PLD) system, the 6-cylinder engine line-up delivers outstanding performance, even at low revs. |
