The Tourino, too, had to prove its stamina and its practicality many times under the most extreme conditions before it was allowed to go into production. It had to undergo 10,000 km of travel across bad roads, an extreme winter fitness test at the polar circle and a no less demanding summer fitness test in Southern Spain, as well as 500,000 km of travel in practical settings being used by different customers.
