The new generation R-Class engine line-up comprises two modified V6 diesel units, each one offering 9% improvements both in fuel economy and emissions.

The R 300 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY illustrates our environmental commitment, incorporating an array of energy-saving measures such as low rolling resistance tyres. As a result, the car now offers combined fuel consumption of up to 37.2 mpg and 201 g/km CO2 emissions when fitted with standard 17” alloy wheels.

The more powerful R 350 CDI L has also been re-engineered to reduce its fuel consumption and now offers sub-225 g/km CO2 emissions. Yet its power output has actually increased significantly to 265 hp, while torque now stands at 650 Nm – a massive 22% increase on its predecessor.
