Introducing the new A-Class: a radical piece of automotive engineering designed to breathe new life into the compact segment.
With AMG involved from the beginning, the styling is simply breathtaking, with long, low, wide proportions and dramatic lines and surfaces.
The interior too bears all the hallmarks of the new generation Mercedes-Benz design language. Striking features range from contoured sports seats to jet engine-style air vents first seen on the SLS AMG.
And performance? It’s nothing short of remarkable, with CO2 emissions as low as 98 g/km - a record for a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Yet driving dynamics haven’t been compromised in the least – the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class is every bit as agile and sporty as it looks.
“In automotive development, it’s not often you get the chance to start with a clean sheet of paper,” explains Dr Dieter Zetsche, Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars. “With the new A-Class, our engineers and designers made the very most of that opportunity.”
