Not only is the B-Class equipped with high performance disc brakes on all wheels, it also features Adaptive Brake Assist. When the brakes are applied abruptly, the system ensures maximum brake force is available almost instantaneously, reducing stopping distances considerably.

The B-Class also comes with the HOLD function so popular on many of our larger models. When pulling away – even on a steep incline - this prevents the car rolling backwards when your foot moves from brake to accelerator.

The electric parking brake is another feature borrowed from our flagship models. By doing away with the traditional mechanical parking brake, it frees up space between the front seats, which can then be occupied by the central controller dial.
