The new B-Class engines combine their predecessors’ impressive performance with significantly reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Petrol models include the outstanding B 150 and B 170, which both deliver superb power, torque and fuel economy. In addition, we’re introducing BlueEFFICIENCY versions of the manual B 150 and B 170 models from September 2008.

These BlueEFFICIENCY models will incorporate a range of fuel-saving measures, including an ECO start / stop function for saving fuel in heavy traffic. As a result, CO2 emissions will be reduced by around 11g/km and fuel efficiency improved by 8%.

The new B-Class also offers two formidable diesel units – the B 180 CDI and the
B 200 CDI. Boasting 0-62 mph times of 11.3 seconds and 9.6 seconds respectively, they provide generous torque, dynamic response and superb fuel efficiency.
