In the unfortunate event of an accident, the occupants benefit from effective, customised protection provided by the comprehensive range of passive safety systems. These include a class-leading array of airbags and the Neck-Pro active head restraint system.

Finally, the fourth component comprises of the phase after an accident when further measures come into play, such as automatically releasing the door locks to make the task of the rescue services easier, or activating the hazard warning lights to reduce the risk of further accidents.
