The latest generation COMAND (Cockpit Management and Navigation Display) system is fitted as standard in the new CL-Class. With an easy-to-read eight inch display the audio, video, navigation, telephone, and optional TV can be controlled using the logically structured and intuitive menus.

Also included in the COMAND system in the new CL-Class is the hard-disc-drive (HDD) navigation system. This new system dispenses with the need for constant access to a navigation DVD or CD-ROM, freeing the standard CD/DVD changer of an extra slot for audio or video use.
