The adaptive accelerator pedal is fitted as standard on all versions of the CLK-Class. It uses an electric sensor to relay your driving characteristics to the electronic engine management, which adjusts engine responsiveness and pedal position accordingly. This gives you a sportier acceleration or a gentler, more economical drive, depending on your preference.
