The 7G-Tronic automatic transmission (standard across the range) makes things easy for you. It always finds the right gear to suit the situation and your driving style, and makes for great pulling power and acceleration. If you wish, you can manually change all familiar automatic mode gears (P, N, R and D) using the Direct Select steering-column gear selector, or change forward gears using the steering-wheel mounted gearshift paddles.

Designed for difficult road conditions and for more accurate driving, the standard-fit Off-Road Pro Package allows the driver to change to Manual Mode ‘M’ on the centre console and, while in low-range, manually hold and change gears using the steering-wheel gearshift paddles. When in high-range and manual mode, the transmission will automatically shift up a gear at a pre-set rpm limit.
