Whatever the weather outside, take control of the climate inside with the automatic climate control system (standard on GL 320 CDI). With this system, individual temperatures can be set for both left and right hand side of the vehicle.

For enhanced control, the luxury automatic climate control system (standard on the GL 420 CDI and GL 500) allows different air distribution to be set for the left and right sides of the vehicle, as well as the rear passenger compartment. It also includes additional sensors for sun, pollution and humidity, as well as a combined filter for dust, pollen and pollutants.

The luxury automatic climate control can be supplemented by the rear control unit located in the centre console (shown above), which allows the rear passengers to control the air distribution and temperature of the rear compartment.
