In the GL-Class you can expect airbag protection throughout as standard. For the driver and front passenger, there are front airbags which deploy in two stages (depending on the severity of an impact), and sidebags.

In addition, windowbags afford protection to occupants of all three seat rows. Sidebags for the second row of seats are also available as an option.
