Available as standard on GL-Class, the COMAND Cockpit Management and Navigation Display system not only guides you to your destination, but also entertains you as you go.

The unit features a navigation system with integrated radio and CD / DVD changer (audio and visual DVD capable). Its 6.5" high-resolution colour display is the centrepiece, showing navigation information, maps and DVD video output. An SD memory slot allows you to bring your music collection on board, and create a library on the integrated 4GB hard disk drive. For ease of use, each feature can be controlled via the display or the multi-function steering wheel, which has ergonomically placed buttons for adjusting volume and changing tracks, and also for operating the telephone function.

The navigation system works with the Global Positioning System (GPS) and a hard disk based map, providing TMC (Traffic Messaging Channel) traffic avoidance functionality where available.

Bluetooth™ telephone connectivity is standard, allowing you to keep in touch wherever you’re going. Fitted as standard, the enhanced Linguatronic voice control means you need never lift your hands from the wheel to do so.
