The R-Class is the most spacious car we’ve ever built. With a load area length of 1.98 metres (2.21 metres in the long-wheelbase model) and a width of 1.13 metres at the narrowest point, attention to space is evident throughout. In fact you’ll be amazed by how much space is available. For example, the long wheelbase 7 seat R-Class with its 2nd and 3rd rows folded provides a vast load capacity of 2,336 litres, equivalent to six suitcases.

And even with seven people on board, there is still room for a successful shopping trip or a shared round of golf en route. It’s also easy to convert the interior to a larger loading area without removing the seats.

The Easy-Pack tailgate, which operates electro-hydraulically and can be controlled remotely or by means of a switch on the tailgate, is also available as an optional extra.
