The Brake Assist System, BAS Plus, utilises the Distronic Plus sensors to calculate the optimal braking power. Whenever the driver brakes, the sensor-supplied data allows BAS Plus to take into account the proximity of other vehicles and make the necessary adjustments to the braking system.
