The ideal cabin temperature comes as standard on the S-Class. Controlled by a newly developed panel on the dashboard or by the COMAND system, this high-performance climate control system allows a different temperature to be set for each individual seat.

The new ventilation modes - diffuse, medium and concentrated - are particularly effective if there is a significant difference between the inside and outside temperatures and there is also a new adjustable blower for the driver and front passenger. Another new function is the independent temperature control for the driver and front passenger footwells.

A separate climate control system for the rear is available as an optional extra. A control unit on the rear face of the centre console allows rear passengers to individually set their own preferred temperature.
