The Keyless-Go feature enables the driver to unlock and start the S-Class without having to take the key from their pocket.

If this key is in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle when one of the door handles is grasped or the button on the boot lid is pressed, the vehicle's electronics will communicate with the key and unlock the car if the authorisation code matches. The driver can then start or switch off the engine by pressing the start/stop button.

Conventional operation using the electronic key is still possible if required.

Keyless-Go is optional across all models, but standard on the S 600 L and S 65 AMG.
