The designers of the new SL faced a daunting task: looking firmly to the future while respecting this most iconic model’s illustrious past. One glance at this sixth generation roadster tells you they succeeded in spectacular fashion.

Long, lean and muscular, the new SL has a uniquely powerful, masculine appearance. The snarling, energetic front section is characterised by its wide, upright grille and large, slanting headlamps.

In profile, classic roadster proportions are emphasised by 18” alloy wheels and an eye-catching shoulder line that sweeps into the powerful, curved rear. From every angle, the sculpted aluminium bodywork is enhanced by striking details, including powerdomes on the bonnet and chromed vents on the flanks - a nod to both the SLS AMG and the legendary SL 300.
