The Econic’s environmentally friendly engines offer reduced noise, reduced consumption and reduced emissions as well as being packed with innovative ideas.

Whether powered by diesel or gas, the Econic engines are designed to take the typical stresses a special purpose vehicle faces on a daily basis, including long-term operation in stop/go traffic and the frequent use of a PTO. The engines are also available with a range of rear engine drive PTOs.

The range of straight-6 engines includes both 6.4L and 7.2L diesel engines from 175 kW to 240 kW and a 6.9L Natural Gas engine with 205 kW, all offering emission outputs complying with the EEV emission standard (Enhanced Environmentally Friendly Vehicle).
