Actros is a very technically advanced Long Distance truck. The Telligent® electronic systems, many taken from the aircraft world, ensure vehicle economy, safety, reliability, long life and high productivity. The computer controlled CAN-Bus systems are utilized, not for the sake of trying to be the worlds most technically advanced truck, but, to meet the demands of to-days highly competitive transport environment, and to meet the most stringent European emission legislation, Euro 4 and Euro 5 due in 2006 & 2008 respectively. No other manufacturer can offer vehicles which meet these legislation levels so far in advance, not only that they meet and surpass the emission criteria by a comfortable margin!
