PowerGuard is the Mercedes-Benz comercial vehicle mechanical insurance scheme has been purpose-designed to fully complement the original warranty of Mercedes-Benz trucks, so as to provide UK operators with the most complete reassurance possible.
For commercial vehicle operators working in increasingly tough business environments, PowerGuard makes sense because it takes away the risk of costly, unscheduled expenditure.
To provide the maximum versatility to help meet every operator’s needs, each of the three PowerGuard schemes is available for any Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle, whether that be a an Atego, Econic, Axor or Actros.
Fully supported by the UK Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealer network, PowerGuard is offered in three different levels of cover. Whilst the basic PowerGuard plan offers a clear range of benefits for only a modest budget, PowerGuard Plus and PowerGuard Warranty provide even greater levels of cover and cost-effectiveness.
PowerGuard, PowerGuard Plus and PowerGuard Warranty also provide:
- Roadside assistance and/or recovery costs to the nearest Mercedes-Benz
commercial vehicle dealer.
- Reimbursement of replacement vehicle hire charges in the event of the failure of an insured component.
In all cases, PowerGuard mechanical insurance starts upon the expiry of the original vehicle warranty, thereby providing unbroken cover through to the end of the third, fourth or fifth year of the life of the vehicle, at the level of cover originally selected.
Cover must be applied for at the time of first registration of the vehicle, and the premium payable will be that ruling on the date that the vehicle is first registered.
