New to the Actros range, the hypoid rear axle HL 6 with single reduction is now fitted as standard on vehicles up to 460 hp. The HL6 is 90 kg lighter than its predecessor and provides more ground clearance.
With its high ground clearance, the proven HL 7 hub reduction axle remains a popular choice for Lo-Line and construction-industry vehicles.
Also available is the HL 8 single reduction axle, a tried-and-trusted, fuel-saving solution for vehicles up to 540 hp.
All axles feature robust, reliable design and have design ratings of up to 13t or 16t on construction models. The standard-fitted differential lock and ASR provide superb traction even under difficult conditions. |
