Up hill, down dale or all day on the motorway, Mercedes PowerShift extracts both the maximum from the truck and the minimum from its driver. And if the driver wants to make a manual change, then that's no problem either. |
But in particular operating situations where auto boxes used to lose out, Mercedes PowerShift not only fully addresses these areas - but goes further. There’s a Manoeuvring Mode that’s perfect when swapping trailers or reversing onto loading bays. There’s a Rocking Mode that helps get you free from poor or slippery road surface conditions. There’s EcoRoll, that maximises fuel economy. Then there’s Power Mode, that gives increases shift speeds for short time periods.
