 | | The Telligent® engine system is kept constantly up-to-date with all relevant data, such as engine speed, engine load and engine temperature, in addition to other variables, such as air pressure and ambient temperature. This enables it to recalculate correct injection quantity, duration and timing for each cylinder and for any driving situation every few milliseconds. By regulating the engine in this way, the Telligent® engine system is able to achieve high power output, low fuel consumption and low-emission combustion.
In the unlikely event of a malfunction, not only will it be shown in the display, but the ECU will switch to 'Emergency mode' permitting the driver to react accordingly and drive to a place of safety. |
