The Unimog offers the ultimate package for mowing – from steep gradient roadside verges to parks and airfield perimeters.
The Unimog, with its range of PTO points, compact size and all-terrain capability, can access difficult working sites and then operate a wide range of mowing equipment, designed and manufactured by its ‘system partner’ Mulag.
For highways operations, which can also include attachments such as weed brushes, vacuum litter pickers, hedge trimmers and long reach arms with circular saws, the Unimog’s VarioPilot® allows the driver to switch from right hand drive to left hand drive – always ensuring the safest driving position. And its ability to display traffic management signs reduces the need for – and considerable cost of – dedicated traffic management services.
The Mulag gang mower has been designed with three wide and easily adjustable cutting heads, each powered directed from the Mercedes-Benz diesel engine, for fast and efficient cutting of wide swathes of grassland – including busy airport perimeters, where operating times are limited, but accuracy vital.
