Chassis bodies

Sprinter Tipper
Carrying sand, gravel or earth? For ´fluid´ loads such as these you need a Sprinter Tipper. The body is pivoted on a subframe mounted on the chassis, usually made from corrosion-protected steel for durability, with a electro-hydraulic under-floor lift mechanism.
The sideboards and tail are made from double-skinned aluminium, which is lightweight but strong. The headboard and gantry provide cab protection and load security. The tipping function is operated by a dash-mounted control or, for increased flexibility, a 'wander lead'. When not required as a tipper, this model can double-up as a dropside for solid loads.
