| With the NGT (Natural Gas Technology) Sprinter, Mercedes-Benz is preparing another, particularly environment-friendly alternative drive system for series production in the van segment. Natural Gas Technology allows natural gas to be injected as required into the engine's combustion chamber thanks to the Motronic control unit. This ensures even greater environmental compatibility than is possible with conventional continuous gas injection. The engine has displacement of 2,295 cc and develops 92 kW (125 hp) at 5,200 rpm. |
