 | Mercedes-Benz CharterWay, the international commercial vehicle, financial services, contract hire and fleet management arm of Daimler Group, has announced the top performers of its Business Managers Academy – and rewarded them with holidays to Dubai.
The top three performers were announced at a dinner held at Tower Hotel in London, following a tough year of competition within the Business Managers Academy. Steve Walker from Ciceley Commercials, Alan Stevens from Sparshatts and Steve Horseman from Gerard Mann finished top of the league table, and were all rewarded with a luxurious holiday for two to Dubai.
Steve Walker commented: “I was very pleased to be announced as one of the top three achieving business managers. There are a lot of good business managers in the academy, so I am delighted to find myself in first position at the top of the league.
“A business manager is only as good as the sales teams he supports. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this award without the support I have received from the Ciceley van, truck, canter and used vehicle sales teams, and the excellent results they have attained throughout the year.”
In order to win the holidays, the business managers had to exceed their allocated sales targets over the year, which included volume of sales, finance penetration and insurance products, but they were also evaluated in other business areas such as reporting and documentation error percentage.
Mercedes-Benz CharterWay’s managing director, Steve Durrant, who announced the winners, said: “We were delighted with the effort put in by all of the business managers this year. However, Steve Walker, Alan Stevens and Steve Horseman really impressed us by achieving outstanding results above and beyond set targets. The holidays are well deserved.”
Other rewards handed out during the evening including three trip to Monaco, and a night of fine dining at the chef’s table in Gordon Ramsey’s Maze restaurant for four business managers and their partners. |
