Exclusive furniture supplier Clive Christian has a reputation for the very finest quality – no surprise then, that franchisee Andrew Mitchell has chosen once again to invest in a Mercedes-Benz van.
Mr Mitchell, the Managing Director of Clive Christian Handcross, West Sussex, has bought a Sprinter 311CDI Medium from Crawley dealer Rossetts Commercials.
Clive Christian furnishes the homes of rich and famous ‘A-list’ clients and has 50 franchisees all over the world – Mr Mitchell is one of 11 in the UK.
The company specialises in ‘whole house’ projects, furnishing everything from a bathroom to a study. It also manufactures other items including soft furnishings, fabrics, cutlery and crockery.
Clive Christian Handcross is using its new Mercedes to transport furniture throughout the south-east. It is the company’s third consecutive Sprinter and Mr Mitchell hails it as the best so far.
“The latest generation model is even better than its predecessors because it features improved safety features and offers an even more comfortable drive. The Sprinter copes admirably with everything we ask it to do and our drivers are delighted with it.”
The prestigious image of the legendary three-pointed star is also a major part of the Sprinter’s appeal. “The Mercedes-Benz brand is a perfect ‘fit’ for Clive Christian,” explains Mr Mitchell. “Both companies have a reputation for high quality, top of the range products.”
The new-generation Mercedes Sprinter was launched last summer. Combining dynamic good looks, ‘bullet-proof’ build quality, comprehensive specification and ingenious technology, the range cost £1.25 billion (1.8 billion euro) and took a team of 400 design engineers five years to develop. The result is a triumph, a vehicle that sets new standards in terms of productivity, refinement and safety.
